Dear Parishioners, We treasure your enthusiasm and curiosity regarding the new construction at The Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe. However, this is an active construction jobsite requiring health and safety compliance. We kindly request that you refrain from visiting the site during normal working hours (Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm). During this construction phase the property is controlled by and the responsibility of Channel Building Company, since they are liable for any damages or injuries until the project is completed in late January If you would like to take a tour of the building, please contact Myles Couyoumjian at cell or myles.couyoumjian@franke.com. He will be happy to meet you at the site and escort you onto the property. The church has established a brokerage account and for those individuals who wish to make such a donation. The church will benefit by the donation, and you as the donor will receive a tax deduction for your donation. It is a win win for both your church and yourself. 4 Weekly Wisdom Stewardship is on the way to reaching its $30,000 goal. Currently, we are more than ⅓ of the way there. Thank you to those that have submitted their stewardship cards. You do not need to be a dues paying member of the Church to be a steward. I can't give away what I don't have: If I can't love others, it's because I don't know that God loves me. It is obvious that in order to give away money, you must have money to give away, and in order to give away a car, you must have a car to give away. Likewise, in order to give away love, you must have love to give away. That love -- true love -- can come only from God, for he is the only source of unconditional love. As followers of Christ, we are instructed to let God's love flow through us to the world: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34). You are to love others as God loves you. However, if you don't know how much God loves you, then you can't love one another. Leviticus 19:18 says, "Love your neighbor as yourself." Again, if you don't have love in you (for yourself and for God), then you can't love others. So, if you're having trouble loving others, it's probably because you don't know how much God loves you.
